We administer all seven sacraments: Baptism, Chrismation (Holy Myron), Confession, Holy Eucharist, Unction of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders.
Faith formation for children and youth, rooted in Coptic tradition, the Holy Bible, and the lives of the saints — taught by dedicated servants.
A dedicated space for young Copts to grow in faith, service, and fellowship — through activities, Bible studies, retreats, and spiritual guidance.
The ancient Coptic praise service held on Saturday nights, celebrating the resurrection of Our Lord through the timeless hymns of the Coptic tradition.
The seven daily prayers of the Coptic Church, following the ancient monastic tradition of the Desert Fathers — a cornerstone of Coptic spiritual life.
The Coptic Orthodox Church traces its founding to St Mark the Evangelist, who brought Christianity to Egypt in the first century AD. Our congregation in Taree carries that unbroken apostolic tradition across continents and centuries to the Manning Valley.
Established to serve the growing Coptic community in regional New South Wales, St Mary & Pope Kyrillos Church has been a spiritual home for families who settled in Taree seeking both opportunity and a place to preserve their ancient faith and Coptic heritage.

We celebrate the great feast of the Assumption of the Virgin St Mary — one of the most beloved and joyful feasts in the Coptic year. As our patron, this feast holds a very special place in our congregation.

All are welcome to come, pray the Agpeya, fast with the congregation, receive the Holy Eucharist (Qurban), and partake in the same Divine Liturgy that has been celebrated without change since the time of the Apostles.
